Em entrevista ao Cidadeverde.com, o guitarrista e filho da Rainha do Rock, Beto Lee, revelou que na noite de hoje o Piauí receberá uma homenagem da cantora Rita Lee. A banda preparou uma versão da música 'Memphis tennessee' de Chuck Berry, intitulada "Rapaz do Piauí". A canção foi preparada especialmente para o maior evento de música e cultura do Estado, o Piauí Pop.  

Beto Lee afirmou que é uma grande satisfação tocar na Cidade do Rock. “A Mamãe preparou essa música especialmente para o festival, é a versão 'Rapaz do Piauí', esperamos que o público goste, a gente dá e a gente recebe, as bandas que vão tocar são muito boas", disse Beto Lee.
