A polícia investiga a morte de uma garota de 13 anos, em Ibiúna, interior de São Paulo. Karen Cristina foi encontrada em uma estrada da cidade no dia 13 de julho e o laudo preliminar apontou que ela foi asfixiada. O criminoso segue foragido.

A menina andava sozinha na rua, algo comum na cidade, indo para a casa do avô. O corpo foi encontrado por um dentista, que acionou a polícia.

Faltam exames complementares para concluir se ela sofreu violência sexual. A cidade é pequena e rural, e moradores contam que passaram a adotar medidas como instalar câmeras e têm medo constantemente.

Segundo a tia de Karen, os parentes estão com medo de mandar as crianças à escola. Os pequenos também estão com medo até de brincar na rua, enquanto uma sobrinha terá que passar por psicólogos após a situação.
