Celine Dion emocionada ao receber o prêmio do filho, René-Charles.

O Billboard Music Awards reuniu grandes nomes da música no domingo (22). A premiação, comandada por Ludacris e Ciara, acontece no Mobile Arena, em Las Vegas, nos Estados Unidos.

Uma das principais atrações da noite foi a cantora Britney Spears, que fez um medley de seus hits. Ela já levou seis Billboard Music Awards em sua trajetória. Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato e Pink também estiveram entre as apresentações da noite.

Céline Dion emocionou ao receber o prêmio Icon das mãos do filho René-Charles Angelil e foi às lágrimas ao falar do marido, René Angélil, morto em janeiro vítima do câncer.

Madonna e Stevie Wonder encerraram a noite com uma apresentação digna em homenagem a Prince, em um medley de dois hits do saudoso artista: Nothing Compares To You e Purple Rain.

E quanto aos prêmios? The Weeknd foi o grande vencedor da noite, seguido por  Adele, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift e Rihanna, só para citar alguns.
