Os indicados ao Emmy Awards 2016 foram revelados na manhã desta quinta-feira (14) em um evento transmitido ao vivo pela internet, apresentado por Anthony Anderson, da série "black-ish", e por Lauren Graham, de "Gilmore Girls".

A série "Game of thrones" lidera pelo quarto ano seguido a premiação, concorrendo em 23 categorias. "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime History" tem 22 indicações e "Fargo" ficou com 18.

A 68ª edição do prêmio, voltado para as produções da televisão norte-americana, acontecerá no dia 18 de setembro no Microsoft Theater (antigo Nokia Theatre), em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. Jimmy Kimmel será o apresentador da cerimônia.
